what is chiropractic,

and what do

chiropractors do?

Chiropractic is a primary care discipline providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, nervous system and all joints of the body.  For many conditions, such as lower back pain, chiropractic care is frequently the primary method of treatment.  It can also be used to provide symptomatic relief for patients with chronic conditions.

We are Musculoskeletal Experts!  This means we know all the ins and outs of the body - including its joints, muscle groups and nervous system.  According to patient surveys conducted by the Ontario Chiropractic Association, chiropractic treatment has been shown to greatly improve the general wellbeing of the patient with respect to the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

Chiropractors use a combination of treatments utilizing hands-on and non-invasive techniques, all of which are tailored to the specific needs of the individual patient.  Treatments include: spinal manipulation, soft tissue release, and tools such as acupuncture and laser treatments.
