It can be used for pain, inflammation, blood flow and even as a relation technique. Cupping also helps to restore proper blood, energy and lymphatic flow which may be inhibited.
Cupping can be used two ways; left on affected areas with no movement (Static) or used more as a deeper massage technique with a (Gliding) movement.
Is a soft hand held heat modality that can be both a relaxing and therapeutic massage. Whenever you add heat to a treatment, it stimulates your “rest and digest” system which helps you to relax faster and more deeply, it also prepares the tissue for deeper work. Systemic benefits include flushing of the blood and lymphatic channels, overall relaxation and a decrease in tenderness after treatment. This is a wonderful treatment, comparable to Hot Stone. Not suitable for pregnant women, or those with high blood pressure.
